Zoo is perfect for a walk as it is kind of big. Theres a lot of spaces and the animals are kept well. We really liked it and cpming in saturday morning was a good idea. Not to much people. Zoo has lots of to see, though the map is pretty hard to follow. Plenty of animals and a good variety. The dolphin show was fun to see. Suggest going on the standup cable car to get some views of the animals, especially the big cats. Fantastic place to create beautiful memories. My daughter loved all the animals even being 2yr old. Lunch time was quite warm so most of the main attractions were sleeping. Beautiful vegetation with many matured trees and nice gardens. The dolphins were just fantastic. Everything was very clean and the animals seemed to be happy and well treated. Amazing place, feels like in a forest. The Dolfin show is really worth seeing. You can spend a whole day there with kids and family, there is McDonald's and some restaurants right next to the zoo. I love zoos, and this one didn't disappoint! It was kind of chilly the day we went but we still saw most of the inhabitants. We took the sky ride - kind of like riding in a Roman chariot in the air. They are very concerned about animal preservation to prevent extinction, and the exhibits are very well laid out. A very delightful morning excursion! It is a nice zoo but definitely not a must visit. If you have enough time here in Lisbon do visit the place. The zoo is beautiful and very interesting but low star rating is just because telefonica didnt work and there was a full price. 26,5 euro is plenty of money for zoo especialy if you dont get all the things you were promised. All i all I realy recomend this place but only when ewerything works.
